HOA and The Prudential Insurance Company of America (Prudential), a major BHPO creditor, have reached an agreement, clearing the way for the transaction to advance. “The creditor agreement with Prudential marks an important step in our restructuring and enables us to continue pursuing the best possible outcome for BHPO and its stakeholders,” said Johnny Gebbers, President, BHPO Board of Directors. “BHPO fully supports the agreement and appreciates HOA and our creditors working together to pave their respective paths forward.” “With this agreement, we are one step closer to completing the transaction,” said Steve Clement, CEO of HOA. “We look forward to continuing the process that will eventually create one entity bringing consumer-favorite apple and cherry varieties to market and building on our strong relationships with growers, retailers, packaging partners and the communities we serve.
