The companies laying the groundwork today will be in a much stronger position as AI adoption matures.” The study also found that many SMBs are already seeing tangible benefits from their AI investments with 84% reporting positive business impacts from AI tools and platforms, suggesting that AI maturity may be linked to stronger business outcomes. For many SMBs, the challenge is no longer whether to adopt AI, but how to do so securely.
