(Nasdaq: TRUG) today announced that it has entered into a legally binding Memorandum of Understanding with TruGolf Canada Inc. The MOU appoints TruGolf Canada Inc. as TruGolf’s exclusive master distributor and strategic platform partner within the defined Territory established in the MOU. The arrangement covers the TruGolf products and services included within the MOU’s definition of “TruGolf Products,” including applicable simulator systems, launch monitors, RANGE by TruGolf systems and E6 software offerings. TruGolf Canada will work with TRU Nations Golf Inc., a separate company, on Indigenous community engagement and market-development initiatives. This work will be conducted under separate arrangements between the companies. Expanding Access to Golf The parties expect the arrangement to increase the availability of TruGolf’s golf simulation technology and year-round golf experiences within the markets and channels covered by the MOU. “We believe this agreement will expand access to TruGolf’s immersive virtual golf experiences and create new opportunities for people to play, practise and enjoy golf throughout the year,” said Nate Larson, Chief Experience Officer at TruGolf. “TruGolf Canada brings valuable market knowledge, relationships and a strong vision for introducing TruGolf technology to new customers and communities.
