Doreen started a boutique in Malacca 20 years ago selling Qipao. Along the way, she and her business partner were inspired by Peranakan Culture in Malacca and started selling kebayas. 
Although Heritage Bloom has a shop at i12 Katong in Singapore, Doreen and her business partner are active in bringing kebayas to the convenience of customers at various heartland malls.
